Role Summary
Produce and maintain user-facing documentation for Lumerical photonic design and simulation products. Work with product teams and engineers to ensure technical accuracy, decide appropriate content formats, and deliver documentation that supports adoption and reduces support escalations.

Responsibilities
Primary deliverables and day-to-day activities:
- Write, update, and maintain user documentation (topic-based help, tutorials, interactive guides) for photonic simulation products.
- Verify technical accuracy by collaborating with engineers and product teams; collect required technical details.
- Track documentation projects and deliverables in Azure DevOps; report status across product cycles.
- Learn products hands-on to write from understanding rather than notes alone.
- Use AI-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate content creation and improve consistency.
- Decide the right content format for user needs and update documentation to reflect new features and workflows.
Requirements
