Job Title
Technical Staff Engineer - Design
Role Summary
Design and integrate analog circuit blocks for Flash-IP and memBrain IP using compute-in-memory SuperFlash technology to enable ultra-low-power AI inference. Lead simulation, validation, and integration of analog circuits and Flash-IP macros, coordinating with design, process, test, marketing, and customers to meet performance, quality, and reliability targets.
Experience Level
Senior level β posting specifies 10+ years of analog design experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include analog circuit design, validation, and cross-functional coordination.
- Architect, implement, simulate, and validate analog circuit blocks and Flash-IP macros; support silicon validation and debug.
- Design HV circuits, charge pumps, sensing and read circuits for non-volatile memory macros; support data-conversion and interface circuits as needed.
- Collaborate with process, technology, test, marketing, and customers to define requirements and ensure deliverables meet performance, quality, and reliability targets.
- Use CAD and verification tools to drive design flow and automation; develop scripts and adopt AI tools where applicable.
- Provide technical leadership across product development and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and practical experience.
- Proven experience leading analog design aspects of product development, including architecture definition, circuit implementation, and validation.
- Experience with silicon validation, debug, and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with analog CAD and simulation tools (HSPICE/FINESIM, Verilog, Cadence, LPE, EMIR, etc.).
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or Tcl for automation and analysis.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional work and customer interaction.
- Creative problem solving for complex analog design challenges.
- Nice-to-have: data converters (DAC/ADC), communication circuits (PLL, DLL, LVDS), regulators/references, semiconductor device physics, neural network hardware implementation experience.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required; the posting specifies 10+ years of analog design experience. No other degrees, certifications, or equivalent-experience language were stated.
