Technical Project Manager (TPM)
Role Summary
Full-time TPM responsible for planning, executing and delivering ASIC/SoC projects on time and within budget. The role coordinates cross-functional teams, maintains customer and stakeholder relationships, manages risks and documentation, and produces executive-level reports.
Experience Level
Senior — requires 10+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC design with proven project management experience.
Responsibilities
The TPM will lead project execution and act as the primary customer-facing project lead.
- Create and approve Statements of Work (SoW) and define project scope.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Manage project schedule and costs; adapt plans to meet objectives.
- Maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders; host regular customer meetings (weekly).
- Monitor and maintain project documentation and version control.
- Design and implement risk mitigation plans; track and resolve issues and action items.
- Conduct project reviews and prepare detailed reports for executive staff.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience.
- 10+ years working experience in ASIC/SoC design.
- Proven hands-on project/program management experience delivering complex technical projects.
- Strong communication skills, including in-person, written, and verbal presentation ability.
- Solid organizational and multitasking skills; attention to detail.
- Leadership capability and conflict-resolution experience.
- Big-picture thinking with the ability to produce executive-level reports.
Education Requirements
BS or MS degree or above (degree from US or EU graduate school specified). Project Management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE II are a plus.
