Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include ownership of emulation platforms and working cross-functionally to bring up and debug designs.
- Bring up, configure, and maintain hardware emulation platforms (e.g., Cadence Palladium, Mentor Veloce, Synopsys Zebu).
- Bring up designs with IO interfaces in emulation and validate system-level behavior.
- Develop and maintain emulation flows, scripts, and automation for build/debug/run.
- Debug hardware and system issues using simulation, emulation, and low-level software tools.
- Work closely with Architecture, RTL design, and DV teams to reproduce, isolate, and resolve functional and performance issues.
- Document bringup procedures, test plans, and known issues; communicate status to stakeholders.
- Participate in a small, cross-disciplinary team and take significant ownership and responsibility for delivery.
