Technical Program Manager, Silicon Product Definition

Role Summary

Manage end-to-end program execution for silicon, board and system products from bring-up through mass production. Work with engineering, operations and cross-functional teams to deliver NVIDIA GPU-based products on schedule and to specification.

Experience Level

Senior β€” typically 7+ years of program management experience (with a BS) or 5+ years (with an MS) in semiconductor, board, or system program management.

Responsibilities

Accountable for technical program planning, delivery, and cross-functional coordination.

  • Lead lifecycle planning and execution for silicon-based products, including milestone delivery and production ramp.
  • Define project objectives, requirements, schedules and deliverables with engineering and product teams.
  • Provide technical guidance on chip, board and system development and resolve execution challenges.
  • Own technical requirement collateral such as datasheets and feature POR.
  • Maintain detailed project plans, track progress, identify risks and implement mitigations.
  • Drive cross-team communication and alignment with program goals and timelines.
  • Present program status and risks to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement of program management processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Core skills and experience required to perform the role.

  • Must-have: 7+ years (with BS) or 5+ years (with MS) managing complex semiconductor, board or system development programs.
  • Must-have: Hands-on experience in development and delivery of silicon-based products and ramping hardware to production.
  • Must-have: Deep understanding of silicon product development, board development, firmware/software interactions and product definition (PDE).
  • Must-have: Proven ability to drive hardware feature tradeoffs and requirements negotiations across engineering and product teams.
  • Must-have: Strong verbal and written communication; ability to coordinate multiple technical and business teams.
  • Must-have: Self-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight schedules.
  • Nice-to-have: Prior experience with GPU products or large-scale visualization/AI hardware platforms.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
