Technical Program Manager — Chip System Software
Role Summary
Lead technical program management for NVIDIA's Chip System Software team, which develops Linux platform software for AI-RAN and Software-Defined RAN solutions. The role coordinates planning, schedules, risk mitigation, and cross-functional delivery across software, hardware, customers, and external ecosystem partners.

Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate program delivery for Linux-based platform software, aligning internal teams and external partners.
- Gather, document, and prioritize product and platform software requirements with Product Management, Engineering, Customers, and vendors.
- Develop and maintain coordinated project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans.
- Coordinate activities across Platform Software, Hardware, Silicon, Firmware, Product Management, Quality Engineering, Customer Engineering, and external collaborators.
- Drive software release readiness for internal development, customer evaluations, and production releases.
- Manage dependencies and coordinate with external collaborators such as commercial Linux distributors and silicon vendors.
- Facilitate technical discussions, engineering and build reviews, and program status meetings.
- Define and monitor key program metrics, deliverables, and executive dashboards.
- Support customer engagements by coordinating deliverables, schedules, and issue resolution.

Must-have:
- 12+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or Software Development.
- Proven experience managing complex software programs involving Linux-based platforms.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile methodologies, and software release processes.
- Experience gathering and managing technical requirements across multiple engineering teams and external partners.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- Ability to coordinate across hardware and software teams and manage external vendor relationships.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with embedded systems or enterprise Linux distributions (Ubuntu, RHEL).
- Familiarity with kernel, BSP, software integration, and release engineering.
- Experience in networking, telecommunications, cloud platforms, or Software-Defined RAN technologies.
- Experience collaborating on hardware-software co-development projects.
- PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent program management certification.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is stated as expected, or equivalent practical experience. PMP or Scrum Master certifications are listed as a plus.
