Technical Program Analyst

Role Summary

Join Qualcomm's Operations Group as a Technical Program Analyst supporting SoC engineering programs. You will plan engineering activities, track program execution and KPIs, coordinate cross-functional engineering teams, and improve program-management workflows to increase delivery efficiency and quality.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Candidates with a high school diploma plus 2+ years of relevant experience are acceptable; otherwise candidates typically hold an Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

The role is responsible for scheduling, tracking, and coordinating SoC program execution across engineering and operations.

  • Own project schedules and execution tracking with engineering teams.
  • Track milestones, risks, and mitigation actions; report status and KPIs to management.
  • Work with team leads to refine the work breakdown structure and integrate into execution schedules.
  • Drive internal engineering signoffs and delivery handovers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts across front-end, back-end, operations, product engineering, and test teams.
  • Define and implement process frameworks for consistent, efficient execution and quality deliverables.

Requirements

Must-have:

  • Experience in SoC development lifecycle (pre-silicon to post-silicon; NPI to release-to-production).
  • Experience working within SoC/ASIC engineering teams and understanding cross-team interdependencies.
  • Schedule development, tracking, and reporting experience using industry-standard project-management tools.
  • Proven program tracking, KPI management, and risk-mitigation capability.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience improving program-management workflows and process frameworks.

Education Requirements

Associate's degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is listed as the primary educational requirement. Alternatively, a High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus 2+ years of relevant work experience is acceptable. PMP certification is listed as an asset. Equivalent practical experience is acceptable where specified.
