Experienced Analog Design Engineer

Role Summary

Work as an analog design engineer on advanced embedded non-volatile memory technology at Weebit Nano's Grenoble site. Responsible for designing, simulating, validating and delivering analog and mixed-signal circuits into layout and test.

Collaborate with technology, layout and international teams; provide technical leadership and mentor junior designers.

Experience Level

Mid-level — minimum 5 years of hands-on analog integrated circuit design experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Propose analog architectures to meet functionality and performance requirements.
• Design and simulate analog and mixed-signal circuits (sense amplifiers, bandgaps, LDOs) for embedded non-volatile memory applications.
• Perform mismatch and corner analysis and validate circuits across process, voltage and temperature corners.
• Work with technology and layout teams to ensure robust and efficient implementation.
• Produce clear technical reports on design progress and results.
• Contribute to product specifications and testing strategies.
• Mentor and guide junior designers.
• Investigate and propose new design approaches and solutions.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred skills:

• Must-have: Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in analog integrated circuit design.
• Must-have: Solid understanding of analog design principles (amplifiers, oscillators, voltage references, data converters).
• Must-have: Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools for simulation and layout (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys).
• Must-have: Proficiency in mismatch and corner validation of analog circuits.
• Must-have: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must-have: Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with memory circuits or non-volatile memory technologies; prior startup experience.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
