Technical / Product Publications Engineer
Role Summary
Author and maintain user documentation and training materials for Synopsys EDA and IP tool workflows, with emphasis on Virtual Prototyping tools. Work within the technical publications team to ensure documentation matches product behavior and supports engineering and customer needs.
Experience Level
Entry-level (Entry or early career). The role expects initial professional experience in technical documentation and working knowledge of software tools and development workflows.
Responsibilities
Produce and maintain accurate, usable documentation and hands-on lab materials; coordinate with product and engineering teams to keep content current.
- Create user manuals, GUI-based procedures, and lab exercises for Virtual Prototyping tools.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts and design teams to gather information and manage reviews.
- Author structured content (DITA XML) and follow the Synopsys Style Guide and team conventions.
- Maintain documentation in sync with product releases and meet delivery timelines for each release.
- Use issue-tracking tools to triage and implement documentation changes; follow team automations and workflows.
- Support cross-team consistency and improve documentation quality across products.
