Job Title

Technical Product Management Architect – HAV AI Platform Strategy

Role Summary

Lead the technical product strategy to embed AI capabilities into Synopsys' hardware-assisted verification (HAV) platforms, ZeBu and HAPS. Own the multi-year roadmap, define platform-level requirements spanning hardware, software, data pipelines, and AI services, and collaborate with R&D, Synopsys.ai, Copilot, and customers to drive adoption.

Experience Level

Senior-level — requires substantial senior experience. The posting specifies 15+ years in product management, engineering, or architecture within EDA/verification or related domains.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on defining and delivering AI-native HAV capabilities that improve verification productivity, debug, and system insight.

  • Identify, prioritize, and own AI-driven verification use cases (debug acceleration, coverage efficiency, regression throughput).
  • Define HAV AI platform strategy for ZeBu and HAPS and build a multi-year roadmap with measurable milestones and adoption targets.
  • Specify integration of AI/ML and agent-based systems into test generation, debug, coverage, power, and performance workflows.
  • Produce platform-level PRDs covering hardware, software, data collection/telemetry, model lifecycle, and AI services.
  • Partner with R&D to architect data pipelines and execution models (host, embedded processor, FPGA-adjacent, transactor-based) for performance, security, and scalability.
  • Align HAV AI strategy with adjacent verification solutions (debug, coverage, power, SLM, post-silicon) to ensure end-to-end value.
  • Collaborate with Synopsys.ai and Copilot teams to define shared platform services and agent experiences for HAV workflows.
  • Engage lead customers for early validation, quantify value, and iterate on pilots to drive adoption.
  • Communicate platform vision to executives, partners, and customers to secure alignment and support.

Requirements

Must-have technical and leadership qualifications; a few preferred items noted.

  • Must-have: 15+ years in technical product management, engineering, or architecture within EDA/verification (emulation, prototyping, compilers, or related domains).
  • Must-have: Deep understanding of hardware-assisted verification workflows and platforms, including emulation and prototyping.
  • Must-have: Demonstrated experience delivering applied AI/ML capabilities in production software or platforms from concept to launch.
  • Must-have: Working knowledge of ML fundamentals, agent-based systems, and model lifecycle aspects (data, evaluation, deployment).
  • Must-have: Hands-on experience with verification workflows: test generation, debug, coverage, and performance/power analysis.
  • Preferred: Experience building data/telemetry platforms, experimentation frameworks, or model evaluation pipelines.
  • Preferred: Customer-facing experience driving discovery, pilots, and adoption for platform products.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication, roadmap alignment, and leadership skills.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience; equivalent industry experience accepted.
