Systems Engineer

Role Summary

Provide system-level evaluation and application engineering for analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. Work with product, design, test, packaging, marketing and sales teams to define products, support customers, and drive design wins across automotive, industrial, consumer and computing markets.

Responsibilities

Key duties include:

  • Define new product requirements, develop business cases and product strategies, and support products through release to market.
  • Analyze customer systems and market trends to identify product and performance opportunities.
  • Assess IC development tradeoffs and act as technical expert during customer ramp-up.
  • Perform silicon system evaluation, lab testing and related documentation.
  • Provide application support for new and existing products and troubleshoot customer application issues.
  • Train and support internal applications engineering and sales teams on product usage.
  • Drive design wins and revenue growth by promoting system-level solutions.
  • Create technical materials such as datasheets, application notes, user guides, EVMs and SPICE models.
  • Collaborate across functions to resolve customer problems and contribute to product roadmap and strategy.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal ICs and their system-level applications.
  • Experience promoting ICs and driving design wins by providing system solutions.
  • Strong customer-facing and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and hands-on testing.
  • System-level circuit modeling experience with EDA tools, SPICE and MATLAB.
  • Relevant industry experience (years not specified).

  • Strong verbal and written communication and time management skills.
