Role Summary

Design and integrate systems and applications built around ARM-based microcontroller components for Edge Processing products. Work with software and hardware test equipment to validate embedded peripherals and ensure correct signal/timing behavior.

Develop customer-facing application support, create C/C++ example code for peripherals, perform chip debugging and testing, manage source code and document test results.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Design and integrate embedded systems and applications using NXP microcontrollers.
• Develop C/C++ firmware and example applications for peripheral devices.
• Perform embedded peripheral testing and chip debugging using IDE tools and lab instruments.
• Use oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators and other test equipment to validate signals, rise times, timing, and clocks.
• Record test results, maintain source code repositories, and present technical findings to internal stakeholders.
• Provide customer application support related to microcontroller usage and integration.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

• Hands-on experience with ARM-based microcontrollers and their peripherals.
• Proficient in C/C++ development for embedded systems and firmware examples.
• Experience debugging embedded chips and peripherals; familiar with IDE toolchains.
• Practical experience using oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, and other lab instruments to test signals and timing.
• Familiarity with source code management (version control) and documenting test results.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience supporting customer applications or application notes for microcontrollers.
• Exposure to edge-processing product development or similar embedded product workflows.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, foreign equivalent, or a related field was specified. (The posting indicates graduate-level education; equivalent practical experience may be considered.)
