Systems Applications Engineer
Role Summary
Join the Digital Healthcare team to design system-level demonstrations, prototypes, and evaluation platforms that accelerate adoption of Analog Devices healthcare solutions. Work across hardware, embedded software, and system architecture to support product integration and customer evaluations worldwide.
Role includes creating technical content and influencing product roadmaps; occasional travel (~10%).

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include system design, prototyping, customer support, and technical content creation.
- Design and develop proof-of-concept demonstrations, system prototypes, evaluation platforms, and software tools (including graphical user interfaces) for healthcare solutions.
- Integrate and troubleshoot system-level hardware and software.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Field Applications Engineers, product development teams, and customers on system implementations.
- Create application notes, reference designs, demonstrations, and technical articles.
- Define solution concepts, participate in system architecture and technology evaluations, and influence product roadmaps.
- Provide customer-facing technical support and translate customer requirements into solutions.
- Travel approximately 10% as required; work first-shift/day schedule.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications:
- Strong foundation in electronics engineering, system architecture, and product development.
- Experience in system-level hardware and software design, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical challenges.
- Customer-facing communication skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Embedded software development in C/C++ and software debugging experience.
- Python development and automated test framework experience.
- Familiarity with embedded processors and microcontroller architectures (ARM preferred).
- FPGA design or integration experience.
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and experience building evaluation platforms or demos.
