Principal Project/Program Management Specialist
Role Summary
Lead complex high-reliability product development programs from concept through customer release within the Hi-Rel Business Division. Serve as the primary owner of project execution across scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality and cross-functional coordination.
This role partners with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, marketing, and sales to deliver mixed-signal analog products for space, aerospace, automotive, industrial or commercial applications.
Experience Level
Senior — typically requires 10+ years relevant industry experience, including multi-year hands-on technical program/project management and NPI experience.
Responsibilities
Accountable for execution and delivery of product programs; drive decisions, remove roadblocks and report program status to leadership.
- Own program scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk for assigned products and projects.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, forecasts and deliverables.
- Lead execution reviews, escalate issues, mitigate risks and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, test, validation, quality, supply chain, operations, marketing, sales) to meet program goals.
- Prepare concise status updates and decision-point presentations for stakeholders and executives.
- Implement and improve project management processes and best practices to increase execution efficiency.
- Monitor KPIs and proactively act on early signals to avoid firefighting and schedule slips.
- Support annual operating planning, resource planning, estimation and portfolio management activities.
Requirements
Must-have technical experience and practical program management skills; listed are required items first, followed by preferred skills.

Must-have: 10+ years relevant experience at an analog semiconductor or space systems company.

Must-have: 5+ years hands-on technical program/project management leading product development teams for mixed-signal analog products targeted at satellite/space, commercial, industrial or automotive markets.

Must-have: 5+ years experience participating in NPI/product-line functional teams (product, test, validation, design, quality or related functions).

Must-have: In-depth understanding of new product introduction and product development flows from concept through production release.

Must-have: Proficiency with industry project tools and methods (MS Project, Jira, SharePoint, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Microsoft OneNote).

Preferred / Nice-to-have: Experience with Automotive processes or Space RADHard processes.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering expected; Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering preferred. PMP or equivalent project-management certification is a plus.
