Systems Applications Engineer
Role Summary
Join the Digital Healthcare team to develop system-level hardware and software demonstrations, prototypes, and evaluation platforms that help customers evaluate and adopt Analog Devices healthcare technologies.
This role works across applications engineering, product, marketing, sales, and customers to deliver technical solutions, reference designs, and supporting content for diagnostic imaging and related healthcare systems.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on system prototyping, technical enablement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive adoption of healthcare solutions.
- Design and build proof-of-concept demonstrations, system prototypes, evaluation platforms, and software tools (including GUIs) for healthcare applications.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Field Applications Engineers, product development teams, and customers to enable system-level implementations worldwide.
- Create technical content: application notes, reference designs, demonstrations, and articles.
- Explore and develop innovative healthcare solutions to address customer challenges and emerging market needs.
- Contribute to system architecture discussions, technology evaluations, and product roadmap input.
Requirements

- Strong foundation in electronics engineering, system architecture, and product development.
- Experience in system-level hardware and software design, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills; able to take ownership of technical challenges.
- Effective communication and ability to work with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams; customer-facing experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for customer or project work.

Nice-to-have: embedded software development in C/C++, Python and automated test frameworks, experience with ARM-based processors/microcontrollers, FPGA design/integration, AI/ML familiarity, and experience developing evaluation platforms or product demonstrations.
