Job Title
Systems and Solutions Engineer
Role Summary
Design and develop integrated systems and solutions that combine software, firmware, board, and silicon/SoC components to meet customer requirements across the system lifecycle. Work with engineering teams, OEM partners, and customers to define architecture, implement integration plans, and deliver end-to-end technical solutions and validation.
Experience Level
Mid-level. Role expects 5+ years of relevant experience in Bluetooth stacks, profiles, controller and RF performance, and platform validation.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on systems architecture, integration, validation, and customer-facing solutions.
- Design and develop systems that integrate software, firmware, board, and SoC components to satisfy customer requirements and implementation constraints.
- Define system architecture and translate use cases into hardware and software product specifications.
- Lead design choices across integrated systems, assessing performance, features, cost, technical risk, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Define implementation and integration plans to optimize performance and reliability across hardware and software.
- Deliver end-to-end technical solutions: deploy solutions, run benchmark and validation tests, and prepare documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on next-generation requirements, proofs of concept, and research collaborations.
- Guide and conduct lab experiments and feasibility studies; simulate real-world environments and analyze prototype performance.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience required to perform the role; concise technical expectations follow.
- 5+ years experience with Bluetooth stack, profiles, controller and RF performance on Windows PCs and Bluetooth products.
- Hands-on experience in Bluetooth validation, testing, or debugging on Windows or Chrome OS platforms.
- Strong understanding of Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy protocols and profiles (A2DP, HFP, HID, GATT) and LE Audio technologies.
- Solid knowledge of Windows OS, driver installation, and log collection tools (for example ETW, WPP, Ellisys, HCI logs).
- Proven experience in bug triage and collaborating on debug with internal driver/firmware teams and external customers.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin; ability to work directly with global OEM partners.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
