Systems and Hardware Enabling Engineer
Role Summary
Provide technical enablement and support for solutions that incorporate Intel products. Drive solution design, develop validation tools and fixtures, and enable internal and external partners to achieve platform readiness and successful product ramp.
Collaborate with silicon, hardware, firmware, and software teams and partner with customer R&D and manufacturing to integrate DFx requirements, resolve factory issues, and deliver technical training and oversight.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
The role focuses on technical enablement, design support, and validation to ensure product quality and market readiness.
- Provide technical support and issue resolution during development, testing, and production.
- Drive solution design to meet time-to-market requirements and convert opportunities into design and production wins.
- Develop and implement product design, development, and validation tools and hardware fixtures.
- Evaluate and optimize product quality and performance during deployment.
- Create technical collateral: product specifications, hardware design guides, and application notes.
- Collaborate with internal and external silicon, hardware, and software teams to deliver new products.
- Partner with customer R&D and manufacturing for product ramp, DFx integration, and factory issue mitigation.
- Provide product training, health oversight, and systematic improvement actions.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- 5+ years programming in C with experience in firmware algorithm design and secure coding practices.
- 5+ years developing UEFI firmware and/or BIOS.
- 5+ years experience with client/server architecture.
- Knowledge of computer architecture fundamentals and relevant domain expertise.
- Experience with code review practices and disciplined software development processes.
- Experience with firmware testing and validation methodologies.
Nice-to-have:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with firmware lifecycle practices and manufacturing ramp processes.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree (BS) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related specialized field.
