Role Summary
Lead the validation strategy and execution for the CoreRide portfolio of automotive reference Electronic Control Units (ECUs), ensuring product maturity, robustness, and customer readiness.
Work within an international, cross-functional team integrating NXP components and ecosystem partner technologies across engineering, quality, safety, and security disciplines.
Experience Level
Senior β 15+ years of experience in automotive embedded systems validation.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and lead the validation strategy for the CoreRide portfolio to achieve high product maturity and robustness.
- Drive end-to-end validation of integrated NXP and ecosystem partner hardware and software.
- Establish and continuously improve validation processes and defect-management practices across the development lifecycle.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with engineering, quality, safety, and security teams to improve portfolio quality and customer readiness.
Requirements
Must-have:
- 15+ years' experience in automotive embedded systems validation, including ECU, platform, and system-level verification and testing.
- Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Deep understanding of quality-driven development: requirements traceability, verification, and validation planning.
- Solid knowledge of automotive functional safety, cybersecurity, and quality standards.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with automotive reference platforms and reusable software.
- Knowledge of middleware, operating systems, and virtualization.
- Experience with safety-critical or cybersecurity-focused validation.
- Familiarity with test automation, CI/CT, and validation toolchains.
