System Level Testing Engineer
Role Summary
The System Level Testing Engineer will perform hands-on system-level testing and qualification of networking interconnect solutions in a lab environment. The role works closely with the Hardware Interconnect team to validate designs, reproduce and debug issues, and verify fixes.
This position is based in Roskilde, Denmark and focuses on executing and improving test plans, participating in CI/CD testing, and contributing to test automation and tools.
Experience Level
Mid-level β typically requires 2+ years of relevant test, validation, or engineering experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include hands-on test execution, debugging, and driving issues to resolution.
- Execute manual and automated system-level test plans in a lab environment.
- Reproduce reported issues, investigate causes, and debug failures using lab equipment and logs.
- Log, track, and drive issues to resolution by coordinating fixes, re-testing, and validating results.
- Define and maintain test scopes, qualification plans, and test documentation.
- Develop or improve test tools, scripts, and workflows to increase coverage and efficiency.
- Participate in continuous integration and deployment testing with rapid development cycles.
- Contribute to development of test automation software and frameworks.
Requirements

Must-have: Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in testing, validation, or related engineering roles.
- Fluency in at least one programming language such as C++ or Python.
- Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to plan and execute tasks independently.
- Team-oriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with qualification and validation test processes, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems, configuration, and testing.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols such as TCP, UDP, and DHCP.
- Scripting experience using Bash or Perl and familiarity with CI/CD testing workflows.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Education Requirements
B.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
