Role Summary
Staff Signal & Power Integrity Engineer responsible for leading SI/PI activities for PCB and system-level interconnects, collaborating with packaging, system, and validation teams, and improving modeling, simulation, and measurement practices.
Primary mission: ensure signal integrity, power distribution robustness, and scalable design guidelines across product families.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
Lead technical SI/PI efforts, coordinate across teams, mentor junior engineers, and establish design standards.
- Lead SI/PI activities for PCBs and system-level interconnects; define PCB layout guidelines and work with PCB fabs.
- Collaborate with packaging, silicon, system validation, and test teams to support characterization and debug.
- Develop and validate electromagnetic and channel models; correlate simulations with measurements.
- Perform and oversee measurements using VNA and probe stations; develop calibration and measurement procedures.
- Drive design guidelines and standards to ensure scalability and reliability across product families.
- Support hiring and training of junior engineers to build SI/PI capability.
Requirements
Key technical skills and experience required.
- 4+ years of industry experience in SI/PI, EMI, and high-speed design.
- Strong knowledge of electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, RF concepts, and analog design principles.
- Experience with high-speed SerDes architecture, link optimization, and standards (IEEE 802.3, OIF).
- Proficiency with SI/PI simulation tools such as HFSS, SIwave, ADS, HSPICE, Q3D.
- Hands-on measurement experience with Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), probe stations, and measurement calibration.
- Excellent technical communication and customer-facing presentation skills.
Nice-to-have: experience in system-level power distribution network analysis and advanced packaging interactions.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
