Role Summary
System Engineer responsible for defining radar product requirements, engaging with local automotive customers, and translating system-level needs into device and platform specifications. Works with marketing, applications, and design teams to secure design wins and ensure products meet performance, cost, and manufacturability targets.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on customer engagement, system-level validation, and translating customer requirements into product definitions and support collateral.
- Review customer radar PCB layouts and antenna designs; troubleshoot radar RF functional and performance issues.
- Test TI or customer radar RF performance using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, target simulators, vector network analyzers and other instruments; diagnose and tune systems to meet targets.
- Maintain deep technical relationships with local automotive customers and map customer requirements to TI radar device specifications.
- Collaborate with design teams to convert system requirements into RF, memory, and processing specifications for new device definitions.
- Collect and prioritize hardware reference collateral from customers to align software and hardware development teams for design wins.
- Develop and engage a local third-party ecosystem to support customer needs.
- Support and train central applications engineering and sales organizations on new and existing products.
- Create technical documentation: datasheets, application notes, user guides, EVMs, SPICE models, and supply-chain materials.
