System Engineer | MSP
Role Summary
Systems Engineer responsible for defining product and platform requirements, identifying roadmap opportunities, and supporting product ramp-up and customer engagement for analog/mixed-signal ICs.
Collaborates with marketing, applications, and design teams to translate customer requirements into technical specifications and to drive design wins and revenue adoption.
Experience Level
Mid-level β requires approximately 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include:
- Define new product concepts, develop business cases and product strategies, and take products to RTM.
- Analyze end-equipment across automotive, industrial, consumer and computing to identify trends and opportunities.
- Assess IC development tradeoffs with design teams and customers; act as technical expert during product ramp-up.
- Evaluate silicon systems (hardware and software as needed) and produce related documentation.
- Provide application support, lab testing, schematic analysis and troubleshooting to resolve customer issues.
- Coordinate across design, product, test, packaging, marketing and sales to deliver timely solutions.
- Train central applications engineering and sales teams on new and existing products and produce technical collateral (datasheets, application notes, EVMs, SPICE models, etc.).
Requirements
Must-have and preferred qualifications:

Must-have: About 3 years of relevant engineering experience; strong understanding of analog/mixed-signal ICs and their applications.

Must-have: Experience promoting ICs and driving design wins by providing system solutions; strong customer-facing skills.

Must-have: Familiarity with lab equipment and system-level circuit modeling using EDA tools, SPICE, and MATLAB.

Nice-to-have: Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-have: Ability to ramp quickly on new systems and processes, work collaboratively across functions, take initiative, and manage time to meet project deadlines.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE), Computer Engineering, or a comparable technical degree is required (as stated in the posting).
