Collaborate with applications, marketing, and design teams to translate customer requirements into technical specifications, enable design wins, and help take products to release-to-manufacturing (RTM).
Experience Level
Mid-level — requires approximately 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
Responsibilities
Provide system-level technical leadership for radar product definition, evaluation, and customer support.
- Define new product requirements and develop business cases and product strategies.
- Analyze end-equipment and identify opportunities to improve performance and add system value.
- Evaluate silicon and system tradeoffs with design teams and customers; support product ramp-up.
- Perform silicon system evaluation and document results (hardware and software as needed).
- Provide application support, troubleshoot customer issues using lab testing and schematic analysis.
- Train and support applications and sales organizations on new and existing products.
- Create technical literature (datasheets, application notes, user guides, EVMs, models).
- Drive design wins and contribute to product roadmap and revenue plans.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience, plus preferred skills that support success in the role.
-
Must-have: ~3 years of relevant engineering experience; strong understanding of RF sensing architectures and applications.
-
Must-have: Signal processing and system analysis experience using MATLAB and/or Python.
-
Nice-to-have: Experience with FMCW radar signal processing and MIMO modulation techniques.
-
Nice-to-have: Experience with antenna design/characterization and power management in embedded systems.
-
Nice-to-have: Familiarity with RF lab equipment (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, RF chambers) and TI mmWave radar ICs.
-
Nice-to-have: Embedded software experience (DSP, C, ARM) and demonstrated ability to drive design wins.
