System Engineer, Audio Converters
Role Summary
Work on system-level definition, evaluation, and application support for audio converter products in Texas Instruments' product development organization. The role interfaces with design, product, test, packaging, marketing, sales, and customers to drive product adoption and revenue.
Primary responsibilities include system evaluation (hardware and software as needed), troubleshooting customer applications, creating technical documentation, and supporting product ramp and design wins.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Define new products and develop business cases and product strategies to take products to RTM.
- Analyze end-equipment in automotive, industrial, consumer, and computing markets to identify trends and opportunities.
- Assess IC development tradeoffs with design teams and customers; serve as technical liaison during ramp-up.
- Perform silicon system evaluation (hardware and software as needed) and produce associated documentation.
- Provide application support for new and existing products and train central applications engineering and sales teams.
- Drive new design wins and adoption of TI products to support revenue growth.
- Troubleshoot customer application issues via lab testing, schematic analysis, and cross-functional coordination.
- Create technical literature such as datasheets, application notes, user guides, EVMs, SPICE models, and SCMs.
- Build and maintain customer and field-team relationships to identify and solve system problems using TI silicon.
- Contribute to short- and long-term product strategy and roadmap.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits and their system-level application.
- Experience promoting or marketing ICs and driving design wins by providing system solutions.
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and hands-on evaluation.
- System-level circuit modeling experience using EDA tools, SPICE, and MATLAB.
Preferred (nice-to-have):
- Demonstrated ability to establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and work effectively across teams.
Education Requirements
