Role Summary
Join the Analog Power Products team in Dallas to define next-generation analog power products and shape technical product roadmaps. The role connects customer and market insight with IC development to translate system-level needs into product definitions.
Experience Level
Mid-level. Requires approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering, applications engineering, or IC design within the analog or power semiconductor domain.
Responsibilities
Work across customers, applications, and design teams to specify and validate power ICs and system solutions.
- Analyze target applications (automotive, industrial, consumer, computing) to identify trends and product opportunities.
- Gather customer requirements and translate them into product specifications and roadmaps.
- Drive product roadmap and NPI strategy based on competitive analysis and market input.
- Assess architectural trade-offs with IC design teams and validate system-level performance of silicon and firmware.
- Perform system-level troubleshooting, debugging, and validation against specifications.
- Provide documentation for product development phases and communicate requirements across internal teams.
- Collaborate with applications engineers to ensure new products fit target customer platforms.

Must-have: 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, applications engineering, or IC design in the analog or power semiconductor space.

Must-have: Experience evaluating silicon systems, system-level validation, troubleshooting, and producing product development documentation.

Must-have: Customer-facing experience collecting requirements and working with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-have: Knowledge of analog electronics fundamentals (amplifiers, voltage regulators, data converters, power management topologies).

Nice-to-have: Experience with system modeling and simulation tools (MATLAB, Simulink, SPICE, VerilogAMS or equivalent).

Nice-to-have: Programming/scripting for configuration, test automation, or data analysis (Python, C, MATLAB).

Nice-to-have: Domain experience in end-equipment markets such as EV/HEV, data center, industrial automation, or personal electronics.

Nice-to-have: Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred. Equivalent practical experience is implied as acceptable.
