System Design Validation Intern - 2027

Role Summary

Responsible for board bring-up, qualification, and power measurement of NVIDIA products. Work within a hardware validation team testing DC-DC power solutions, signal measurement, and system-level electrical performance for servers, embedded systems, and graphics platforms.

Experience Level

Entry-level internship for current students; no specific years of professional experience required.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include hardware bring-up, electrical testing, and analysis to ensure product power and signal integrity.

  • Conduct board bring-up and electrical performance testing; optimize efficiency.
  • Test and debug DC-DC power solutions.
  • Analyze analog DC/DC power designs.
  • Perform high-speed and low-speed signal measurements (PCIe, USB, I2C, GPIO).

Requirements

Core skills and experience required for the role.

  • Familiarity with SMPS concepts and common power topologies (LLC, BUCK, BUCK/BOOST).
  • Understanding of signal integrity theory.
  • Experience with server and PC architecture.
  • System knowledge of AI servers, embedded systems, or graphics platforms.
  • Good English listening and speaking skills.

Nice-to-have:

  • Hands-on experience measuring or designing DC/DC power solutions.
  • Experience designing experiments and evaluating test results.

Education Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
