Synthesis STA Expert

Role Summary

As a member of the NBIO IP Physical aware group, the Synthesis STA Expert will help bring to life cutting-edge designs. Close collaboration with the architecture, IP design, physical design teams, and product engineers is required to achieve the best quality and performance (PPA) for complex IPs.

Experience Level

Requires 15+ years of experience in the Synthesis/STA/LEC domain.

Responsibilities

• Synthesis of complex IPs and high-speed IPs, including constraint development.
• Hands-on experience with synthesis and Static Timing Analysis (STA).
• Hands-on experience with conformal flow and logic equivalence checking (LEC).
• Providing feedback to the RTL team for physically driven microarchitecture changes.
• Managing data shared across multiple projects and coordinating with multiple SoCs for complex IPs.
• Involvement in physical activities such as floor planning, placement, clock tree synthesis, and routing.
• Leading and mentoring junior team members in technical areas.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and highly accurate approach to work.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
