Sustaining Program Manager, Supply Chain

Role Summary

Manage the transition and sustaining lifecycle of custom ASIC and AI hardware from development to full-scale manufacturing. Coordinate engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing partners to meet schedules, quality, yield, and cost targets.

This is a hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, working with global foundries, OSATs, and contract manufacturers.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead sustaining programs for custom ASIC and AI hardware through post-ramp qualification and end-of-life management.
  • Drive readiness across BOM validation, material availability, and process qualification with manufacturing partners.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, manufacturing) to maintain schedules, quality, and yield targets.
  • Maintain program tracking in ERP/PLM and project-management tools; report status and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Identify, prioritize, and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks; implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with foundries, OSATs, FATP, and global manufacturing partners.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing semiconductor or hardware manufacturing programs and supply chains.
  • Technical understanding of foundry, packaging, SMT, and FATP processes.
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP, PLM systems, and project-management tools (JIRA, Smartsheet, MS Project).
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
  • Data-driven problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to mitigate production and supply risks.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with AI hardware, high-performance computing, or ASIC sustaining programs.
  • Prior work with global manufacturing partners and OSATs.
