Strategic System Marketing Manager — Power for Data Centers & Data Infrastructure

Role Summary

Responsible for strategic system marketing for Renesas Power Product Group (Power PG), focused on data center and data infrastructure applications. Acts as a consultant to Business Divisions and Sales, drives system-architecture projects, and informs product roadmaps through market, competitor, and application analysis.

Experience Level

Mid-level — typically 5–8 years of relevant experience in power products, semiconductor technical marketing, system architecture, or related roles.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include technical and business system marketing, market analysis, and cross-functional support to Sales and Product Lines.

• Provide system-level consulting to Business Divisions and Sales on power architectures and application clusters.
• Drive strategic system-architecture projects and produce system block diagrams and simulations.
• Analyze market segments, end-customer products, and competitors to identify trends and product gaps.
• Support roadmap and NPI definition by providing market requirements and power roadmap feedback.
• Develop collateral: portfolio maps, benchmark analysis, portfolio gap reports, and proposal BOMs.
• Coordinate demo-board development and lab validation with third parties and internal labs.
• Generate monthly reporting on progress versus targets and participate in opportunity reviews with Sales and Product Lines.
• Provide content and organizational support for events, conferences, and marketing campaigns.

Requirements

Must-have technical and business skills for this role.

• 5–8 years' experience in power semiconductor products, technical marketing, product definition, system design, or system architecture.
• Proven record in business development within semiconductors, focused on power products and solutions.
• Strong understanding of power management ICs including AC/DC, DC/DC, battery management, and Si/WBG technologies.
• Experience with data infrastructure systems and ability to create detailed block diagrams populated with power components.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to build relationships with customers and partners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lead cross-functional efforts, and influence stakeholders.
• Nice-to-have: MBA, experience with demo hardware development and lab validation.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field required. MBA is a plus.
