Role Summary

Senior on-site verification engineer responsible for developing and maintaining UVM-based verification environments for complex IP and SoC designs. Work is based in Raanana, Israel and involves close collaboration with design, architecture, and firmware teams.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include planning, implementing, executing, and debugging verification activities for IP and SoC blocks.

• Develop and maintain UVM-based verification environments, testbenches, test cases, and coverage models.
• Define verification plans from specifications and create verification scenarios.
• Run regressions, monitor coverage metrics, and perform root-cause analysis of failures.
• Debug RTL issues and work with design, architecture, and firmware teams to resolve problems.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement of verification methodologies and flows.
• Participate in design and verification reviews and align verification activities with project schedules and quality standards.
• Mentor junior verification engineers when required.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for the role.

• Strong expertise in UVM methodology and constrained-random verification.
• Experience with Formal Verification techniques and tools.
• Solid understanding of computer architecture including memory hierarchies, bus protocols, and high-performance compute subsystems.
• Hands-on RTL experience (Verilog/SystemVerilog), synthesis considerations, and design-for-verification practices.
• Proficiency with verification tools and flows: simulators, waveform viewers, coverage tools, regression management.
• Scripting skills for automation (Python, Perl, Tcl or similar).
• Effective communication and ability to work in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
• Nice-to-have: experience in semiconductor product development for automotive, industrial, or embedded systems.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (as stated in the posting).
