Senior Design Verification Engineer — Automotive & Robotics

Role Summary

Lead verification for complex digital blocks and SoC features that enable AI and high-performance compute. Own verification strategy, build advanced SystemVerilog/UVM test environments, and coordinate with architecture, design, and software teams to deliver production-quality silicon.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include planning and executing verification for complex designs and raising verification standards across projects.

  • Define and execute comprehensive verification plans for digital blocks and full systems.
  • Drive verification methodology and set best practices across teams.
  • Design and implement advanced SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches, testcases, and coverage models.
  • Run simulations, analyze results, and debug functional and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and software engineers to align specifications and fixes.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to raise team capability and delivery quality.
  • Contribute to verification sign-off and quality assurance activities for tapeout.

Requirements

  • Must-have: 10+ years of industry experience in digital design verification with technical leadership experience.
  • Must-have: Deep expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM and proven experience building test environments.
  • Must-have: Hands-on experience with simulators such as Questa, VCS, or equivalent tools.
  • Must-have: Strong understanding of computer architecture, microarchitecture, and SoC integration.
  • Must-have: Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional debugging and collaboration.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with formal verification methods.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with RISC-V CPUs, AI accelerators, chiplet architectures, or post-silicon validation.
