Staff Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Join the Solutions Engineering team to verify subsystems that integrate Arm IP for IoT, mobile and infrastructure products. The role focuses on ensuring correct functional behavior while meeting targets for power, performance and area.
You will work with architecture, design, verification, performance analysis and implementation teams across Arm and with external partners. A mentor will support your onboarding and development on the project.

Responsibilities
Deliver verification activities for subsystem projects integrating Arm IP and collaborate across teams to meet project requirements.
- Develop and execute verification plans, testbenches and regression suites.
- Create and maintain verification environments (e.g. UVM/SystemVerilog) and verification infrastructure.
- Integrate and verify multiple IP blocks within subsystem contexts.
- Debug functional issues, root-cause failures, and drive fixes with design teams.
- Collaborate with architecture, design, performance and implementation teams on trade-offs for power, performance and area.
- Document verification results, report status, and participate in design and verification reviews.
Requirements
Must-have skills and baseline experience for the role.
- Some practical experience in hardware or software development.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical issues clearly.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience with microprocessor or complex system designs.
- Understanding of design and verification methodologies and techniques.
- Hands-on experience with SystemVerilog UVM or strong object-oriented programming knowledge.
- Familiarity with embedded C, assembly, compilers, and basic scripting (Perl/TCL/Python).
- Experience with Linux, shell scripting and Makefiles.
- Knowledge of Verilog or VHDL and of version control systems such as Git.
Education Requirements
Degree from a university or engineering school in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronic / Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
