Senior Engineer II - Design
Role Summary
Contribute to the Networking and Communications design team in Hauppauge, NY, developing connectivity ASICs such as Ethernet switches/bridges, USB hubs and power delivery, PCIe bridges, and SerDes interfaces.
Work includes RTL design, participation in the ASIC design/verification flow, simulation and emulation-based debug, and cross-functional collaboration to bring products to production.

Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include:
- Develop RTL using Verilog/SystemVerilog for connectivity IP (Ethernet, USB, PCIe, SerDes).
- Participate in ASIC design and verification flow, including simulation, synthesis, and timing closure.
- Debug design issues using simulation, FPGA emulation, and lab bring-up.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and verification plans.
- Collaborate with verification, firmware, system, and test teams to integrate and validate designs.
- Support silicon bring-up and post-silicon debugging.
- Travel as required (0–25%).
Requirements

- Preferred: Experience with FPGA emulation and FPGA-based debug (Xilinx).
