Staff Test Engineer

Role Summary

As a Staff Test Engineer in Marvell's Singapore team you will develop and lead ATE test solutions for silicon characterization, production and wafer sort. You will ensure chip features are testable, implement and release production test programs, and work closely with Design, DFx and product teams to meet customer specifications.

Experience Level

Senior-level (Staff). Typical experience: 7+ years in semiconductor test, ATE development, or equivalent technical experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Lead development of ATE test solutions for characterization, production, and wafer sort on Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne platforms.
  • Design and develop high-speed ATE test hardware.
  • Create and maintain detailed test plans, methodologies, and testflow documentation.
  • Convert design test patterns from simulation into ATE formats and release production test programs.
  • Optimize test flows to reduce test time, remove unnecessary steps, and improve yields.
  • Participate in testability and test plan reviews with DFx and Design teams; collaborate with product engineers to debug silicon and test programs.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in ATE testing, test methodology, silicon process knowledge, DFT/DFM, and high-speed digital testing.
  • Experience developing test programs on Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne tester platforms.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Perl, Python and working in a Linux environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills; able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience designing ATE test hardware for high-speed testing.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field required; Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
