Lead ASIC/SoC RTL design and verification efforts for complex semiconductor projects. Collaborate with architecture, firmware, physical design and validation teams to define verification strategy, implement testbenches, and resolve functional and performance issues through bring-up and silicon validation.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Define and drive verification plans and strategies for ASIC/SoC blocks.
• Develop and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches, assertions, and coverage metrics.
• Run, debug, and analyze simulations using commercial simulators and coverage tools.
• Collaborate with RTL designers to close functional bugs and support timing, synthesis, and implementation trade-offs.
• Support FPGA prototyping and silicon bring-up; diagnose post-silicon issues and work with validation teams to reproduce and fix failures.
• Mentor and review work of junior engineers; lead technical design/verification reviews.
• Automate verification flows and reporting using scripting languages and CI tools.

Requirements

Expectations for candidates:

• Must-have: Hands-on ASIC design or verification experience; strong knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVM; experience with commercial simulators and coverage-driven verification.
• Must-have: Proficiency in scripting (Python, Perl, TCL or similar) to automate flows and debug results.
• Must-have: Experience with FPGA prototyping and/or silicon bring-up and debugging.
• Must-have: Strong problem-solving, debugging, and cross-team communication skills.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with synthesis, STA, formal verification, or SoC-level verification methodologies.
• Nice-to-have: Prior leadership or mentoring experience on ASIC projects.
