Staff RTL Design Engineer for AI Accelerator SoC
Role Summary
Lead RTL design and microarchitecture for AI accelerator SoC projects. Responsible for defining and delivering production-quality RTL blocks and interconnects used in high-performance processor and accelerator subsystems.
Work with architecture, verification, and software teams to integrate designs and meet performance, area, and timing targets.
Experience Level
Senior β requires 10+ years of ASIC/SoC design experience.
Responsibilities
The role owns RTL and microarchitecture tasks for accelerator subsystems and on-chip interconnects. Key responsibilities include:
- Drive RTL design and microarchitecture for AI accelerator blocks and supporting subsystems.
- Design, implement, and maintain complex NoC fabrics and interconnect protocol logic.
- Write and review Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL to achieve performance and quality targets.
- Collaborate with architecture, verification, and software teams to define interfaces and integration requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, timing/synthesis closure efforts, and handoff to physical design.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural tradeoffs and implementation plans.
