Role Summary
Design and develop silicon RFIC circuits for RF front-end modules used in 5G NR and 6G smartphones. Participate across architecture definition, circuit design, measurement, and module integration to enable high-volume manufacturing.

Senior β typically 8+ years of industry experience in RFIC design.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Design RFIC circuits (LNAs, switches, couplers, detectors) for mobile RF front-end modules.
- Support integration of silicon RFICs into multi-chip modules (MCMs) and RF front-end modules.
- Perform RF measurements, troubleshoot test issues, and characterize devices.
- Refine and validate simulation results to achieve high predictability and first-pass success.
- Document, present, and communicate technical results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with system, module integration, and manufacturing teams to transition designs to production.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- 8+ years of RFIC circuit design experience using silicon technologies such as SOI, SiGe, and bulk CMOS.
- Proficient with RF design and simulation tools (Cadence, ADS, HFSS).
- Strong transistor-level understanding and ability to design supporting analog circuits (current references, bandgaps, charge pumps, LDOs, DACs, level shifters).
- Hands-on experience with RF measurements and characterization techniques.
- Ability to refine simulations for high predictability and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid communication and presentation skills.
- Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing and module/system integration.
Education Requirements
Minimum: Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with at least 8 years of industry experience, or a Ph.D. in a related technical field (electrical engineering or equivalent). No specific certifications were listed.
