Role Summary

As Staff Product Manager in Qualcomm's Data Center Business Unit, you will define product strategy, roadmaps, and customer engagement for high-speed connectivity and AI infrastructure solutions. You will work across architecture, engineering, ecosystem partners, and hyperscale customers to shape solutions spanning SerDes, optical interconnects, PCIe, die-to-die/chiplet connectivity, and rack-scale systems.

This is an office-based role located in Santa Clara, CA involving cross-functional leadership from concept through market deployment.

Experience Level

Senior level. Minimum 5+ years of product management or related experience; preferred 10+ years in semiconductors, networking, connectivity, or AI infrastructure markets.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy, customer engagement, and cross-functional execution for high-speed connectivity products supporting AI and cloud infrastructure.

  • Define product strategy, multi-generation roadmaps, market requirements, and business cases.
  • Engage hyperscale customers, partners, and industry consortiums; translate needs into product requirements and priorities.
  • Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to specify system-level connectivity requirements and capabilities.
  • Drive platform and ecosystem strategies for SerDes, PCIe, optical interconnects, die-to-die and chiplet solutions.
  • Manage product planning from concept through deployment and measure product success with business and technical metrics.
  • Prepare investment recommendations, pricing strategies, and go-to-market positioning.

Requirements

Key qualifications and skills required for this role.

  • 5+ years product management or related experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of high-speed connectivity: PCIe, Ethernet, optical interconnects, die-to-die communication, and chiplet ecosystems.
  • Experience with AI infrastructure, hyperscale data centers, HPC systems, or cloud architectures.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Track record of driving products from concept through market deployment and adoption.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and market-evaluation capabilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or a related field is specified in the posting.
