Staff Product Engineer, Optics
Role Summary
As a Staff Product Engineer on the product engineering team in Hsinchu, you will lead test and yield engineering efforts for optics-related products. You will collaborate with design, test, DFT/DFM, hardware and firmware teams to qualify new products and improve production yields and test coverage.
Primary mission: debug and characterize digital and analog circuits, define manufacturing and test specifications, and drive test-time, yield and quality improvements. This role is eligible for Marvell bonus and equity programs.
Experience Level
Senior level. Posting specifies a minimum of 3+ years of semiconductor product engineering experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Debug and characterize new product performance of digital and analog circuits.
- Analyze volume data and conduct lab experiments to resolve yield and test issues.
- Define yield and manufacturing specifications for wafer sort, final test and SLT.
- Lead optimization of production test screen specifications and test-time reduction efforts.
- Support RMA testing and customer-facing teams during escalations to identify coverage gaps and fixes.
- Collaborate with design and DFT/DFM groups to enhance yield and test methodology.
- Lead new product, package, and fab qualification prior to volume production.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Minimum 3+ years semiconductor product engineering experience.
- Proven experience with ATE testing and test methodology; high-speed digital testing.
- Experience with Agilent 83K or 93K testers.
- Familiarity with silicon process, DFT/DFM and test flow optimization.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-have:
- Product development and mixed-signal testing experience.
