Role Summary
Join the Manufacturing team in Ipoh to qualify, sustain and improve Power QFN package and Cu-clip thin-die assembly processes for Smart Power Stage (SPS) products. The role focuses on process design, transfer to production, yield and cost improvements, and supplier management.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include process development, production ramp, sustaining activities, and cross-functional collaboration:
- Design packages and develop qualification processes for PQFN (Power QFN) packages used in SPS products and related modules.
- Ramp manufacturing volume and qualify suppliers and sources.
- Sustain production lines: improve assembly yield, capacity, quality, and cost.
- Investigate and resolve internal and external customer issues in collaboration with Test, Product Engineering, Quality, and Operations.
- Manage product lifecycle documentation and change-control with suppliers to sustain or improve capacity and cost.
- Partner with Quality and Reliability to meet internal, industry, and customer standards.
- Serve as the primary manufacturing-engineering interface for NPI-to-production transfers.
- Manage relationships with OSATs and contract manufacturers supporting production.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes for successful performance in this role:
- Experience in process engineering or package development for thin wafer handling and SPS solder-attach processes.
- Knowledge of quality and reliability requirements for PQFN/QFN, WLCSP, and leaded packages.
- Familiarity with wire bonding processes.
- Proficiency with SPC and statistical-analysis tools (for example, JMP).
- Experience supporting NPI-to-production transfers and managing OSAT/contract manufacturer relationships.
- Strong analytical, written-communication and presentation skills; able to manage large projects effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and English communication skills; able to work with people at all levels and with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and responsible work approach.
Education Requirements
Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Physics, Chemistry, or Applied Sciences (as stated in the posting).
