Staff Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Responsible for chip-level verification and modeling of mixed-signal power devices (PMICs, battery chargers) and for driving verification strategy and execution across cross-functional teams.
Works with design, verification, and systems groups and with external customers to ensure accurate models, comprehensive verification plans, and timely issue resolution.
Experience Level
Senior β 8β12+ years in mixed-signal verification, digital verification, modeling, power management, or related semiconductor development.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include verification, modeling, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform chip-level verification of analog and mixed-signal circuits using advanced simulation tools and methodologies.
- Create and maintain analog/mixed-signal models (SystemVerilog, Verilog-AMS).
- Develop comprehensive verification and modeling plans for mixed-signal circuits and systems.
- Debug failing test cases and models; diagnose and address simulation slowdowns.
- Collaborate with analog/digital design and verification teams to ensure proper integration.
- Document verification plans, results, and traceability artifacts.
- Communicate and coordinate with external customers to meet verification requirements.

Must-have:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in mixed-signal verification, modeling, or power-management semiconductor development.
- Practical experience with SystemVerilog and Verilog-AMS modeling.
- Proven ability to develop verification plans and execute chip-level verification.
- Strong debugging skills for mixed-signal simulations and test failures.
- Effective written and verbal communication; ability to work cross-functionally and with customers.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with switching converters and PMIC design/verification.
- Prior customer-facing verification or support experience.
Education Requirements
B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (as stated). No additional certifications specified.
