Experience Level

Senior β€” expects experienced engineer. The posting specifies 5+ years in CMOS design.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Implement key circuit blocks within a defined architecture in collaboration with other designers.
  • Analyze system-level impacts of block parameters and perform trade-offs.
  • Design challenging transistor-level circuits (amplifiers, comparators, switched-capacitor blocks, references, LDOs).
  • Prepare design documentation and lead design reviews.
  • Guide layout, evaluation, and test engineering during integration and characterization.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

  • Proven CMOS circuit design experience (practical depth evident from role and years of experience).
  • Strong understanding of wide-bandwidth amplifiers, comparators, switched-capacitor circuits, precision voltage/current references, and LDOs.
  • Experience with Cadence schematic capture and SPICE simulation tools.
  • Good written and verbal communication and ability to work in large, distributed teams.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in high-speed data converter or SerDes PHY design.
  • Signal processing knowledge relevant to calibration algorithms.
  • Experience using MATLAB for behavioral modeling.

Education Requirements
