Role Summary

Join a SoC and IP verification team developing state-of-the-art subsystems for AI and storage chips. The role focuses on building verification environments and testbenches to validate system and sub-block designs.

Collaborate with cross-functional design teams to close coverage, debug failures, and ensure silicon quality for complex SoC projects.

Experience Level

Senior. Education-based guidance: typically Master’s in EE/CE/CS + 6 years experience or Bachelor’s in EE/CE/CS + 8 years experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include developing and executing verification environments, tests, and debug flows:

  • Develop verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM
  • Design UVM components such as sequences, agents, scoreboards, and behavioral models
  • Implement coverage metrics and assertions in SystemVerilog
  • Create constrained-random and directed testcases to close functional coverage
  • Analyze simulation failures and coverage results; debug RTL and testbench issues
  • Run and debug simulations with HDL simulators
  • Act as a productive individual contributor and provide technical leadership on verification tasks

Requirements

Core technical and professional requirements.

  • Expertise in HDL languages: SystemVerilog and Verilog/VHDL
  • Experience with constrained-random verification using UVM, OVM, or VMM
  • Experience developing verification environments and writing coverage and assertions
  • Proficient with HDL simulators and simulation debug flows
  • Familiarity with object-oriented languages and techniques (C++, Java)
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Effective communication and ability to work in a matrix organization
