Role Summary
Drive ATE hardware test solutions for AI-focused semiconductor devices and modules, ensuring reliable backend test capabilities for data center, accelerator, and advanced computing power semiconductors. Work across product engineering, operations, and vendors to support NPI and production release with no quality issues.
Experience Level
Senior - 7β12 years of relevant semiconductor ATE hardware and module test experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include managing ATE hardware projects, coordinating with vendors, and delivering production-ready module test solutions.
- Project-manage ATE hardware (load boards, probe cards, test sockets, change kits) from definition, RFQ and design review to NPI/production release.
- Act as main technical, commercial, and operational contact with ATE hardware vendors.
- Manage and monitor ATE hardware budgets and spending.
- Maintain systems and tools for ATE hardware requests and inventory tracking.
- Identify and implement gross-margin improvement initiatives related to load boards, probe cards, sockets and change kits.
- Interface with product engineering and operations for forecasting and to meet NPI timelines, revenue, and capacity requirements.
- Provide technical direction for module testing (sockets, boards, change kits and handling) on ATE/handlers for production solutions.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, experience, and capabilities for successful performance in this role.
- 7β12 years experience in semiconductor ATE hardware (sockets, boards, change kits, probe cards) design and module test handling.
- Experience with power devices/modules hardware and change-kit design/layout.
- Experience in ATE handler utilization testing of devices and modules in a mass-production environment.
- Proven track record implementing module test solutions for production.
- Advanced analytical skills, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and forecasting.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization.
- Nice-to-have: Statistical and data-analysis skills for data analytics.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) is required.
