Senior Engineer I - Validation (ASIC)
Role Summary
Work on pre-silicon and post-silicon functional validation for NVMe flash controller ASICs. The role develops validation plans, embedded software, drivers, and test tools, and performs system-level debug and performance analysis while collaborating with architects and designers.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include planning and executing validation activities and debugging complex system issues.
- Plan, develop, code, and execute pre-silicon and post-silicon validation plans.
- Perform OS-level debug of post-silicon hardware and software issues.
- Analyze and debug PCIe and NVMe protocols and related system interactions.
- Develop and maintain validation infrastructure: embedded software, device drivers, and test tools (C, Python, Tcl).
- Measure and analyze system performance and support system-level root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with architects and designers to influence product architecture, features, and performance.

- Preferred: Familiarity with storage interfaces (NVMe, SCSI, AHCI, SATA, SAS) and device driver development for Windows or Linux.
- Preferred: Experience with lab equipment such as protocol analyzers; familiarity with machine learning is a plus.
- Other: Travel up to 25%.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (BS/MS in CS, CE, EE) is specified.
