Coordinate across Design, Evaluation, Applications and product support teams; mentor engineers and drive testability and cost-reduction initiatives.

Experience Level

Senior level — Job Level P4. Requires at least 7 years' experience in the electronics or semiconductor industry with demonstrated product development and test engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include development, ownership, and team leadership for new product test solutions.

  • Design and implement ATE hardware and software for validation, characterization, and manufacturing release.
  • Develop measurement solutions and support DFT/BIST to improve testability and reduce manufacturing cost.
  • Lead new product test development projects, manage milestones, and coordinate cross-functional workstreams.
  • Analyze test data and perform statistical analysis to support yield and qualification decisions.
  • Debug measurement systems and bench-level setups; use bench equipment for characterization.
  • Coach and mentor engineers to build technical capability and improve performance.
  • Support required travel (~10%) for project needs.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and proven experience; listed nice-to-have items where applicable.

  • Expertise with automated test platforms such as Teradyne Flex and National Instruments.
  • Proficient in C/C++, Visual Basic, LabVIEW, and Python.
  • Experience with schematic/layout tools (for example Cadence Allegro) and bench equipment (oscilloscopes, DVMs, programmable sources).
  • Skilled in statistical analysis and related tools for yield and test data interpretation.
  • Strong debugging skills for measurement and test systems and the ability to recommend practical engineering solutions.
  • Extensive experience in analog, digital, and mixed-signal hardware and probe/test development.
  • Demonstrated project leadership delivering test development milestones.
