Staff Engineer, NAND Product Engineering
Role Summary
Drive NAND product engineering efforts to enable new NAND technology nodes from silicon to system. Work with cross-functional teams (design, fabrication, test, supply chain, and business units) to translate requirements into qualification plans and ensure timely product delivery.
Develop and integrate AI-enabled workflows to automate data extraction, analysis, and program management for NAND product qualification.

Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional engineering activities and build AI-enabled tooling and processes to support NAND product qualification and system integration.
- Negotiate NAND requirements with business and SSD development leads and convert them into qualification specifications.
- Design and implement AI workflows to automate data extraction, analysis, and decision support.
- Integrate Product Engineering efforts with Technology Development and Design Engineering for NAND-to-SSD enablement.
- Coordinate with supply chain, fabrication, assembly, and test teams to execute engineering plans and meet timelines.
- Create program-management systems and AI-embedded workflows to track priorities, risks, and actions for product qualifications.
- Represent Product Engineering in development reviews and lead cross-functional meetings to resolve design or schedule issues.
- Organize capability and data reviews to advance system development toward customer qualification samples.
- Investigate and lead resolution of complex NAND–system interaction problems.
Requirements
Must-have technical experience and behaviors for successful execution in a cross-functional product-development environment.
- Proven experience developing agentic solutions using industry models and platforms (examples: Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot).
- Strong software and data-skills: ability to implement AI workflows, automate data pipelines, and develop analysis tools.
- Working knowledge of NAND design/device concepts, validation and test flows, reliability, and failure analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills; able to lead cross-functional technical discussions.
- Self-motivated with a growth mindset and experience working in diverse, global engineering teams.
- Interest in system product enablement, media management algorithms, and system architecture; willingness to expand domain knowledge.
Education Requirements
Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or a related discipline. Transcript must document coursework related to AI model fundamentals, data science, and advanced coding skills.
