Staff Engineer, ASIC Design Verification
Role Summary
Member of Micron's ASIC Verification team responsible for developing verification components and simulation environments for complex SoC designs. Execute verification plans, collaborate with design teams, and debug complex issues to ensure timely delivery and high quality.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop UVM-based SystemVerilog testbenches and advanced simulation environments for block, sub-system, and SoC verification.
- Define, execute, and close verification plans and functional coverage.
- Collaborate with design teams to integrate tests, reproduce and debug complex failures, and drive root-cause analysis.
- Establish and track verification quality metrics and ensure on-time delivery.
- Produce and maintain block-level and SoC top-level test plans and documentation.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Expert-level experience with NAND, DDR, or PCIe IP/sub-systems.
- Expert-level proficiency with UVM and SystemVerilog.
- Strong experience with ASIC simulation tools and advanced verification methodologies and flows.
- Proven ability to define block, sub-system, and SoC top-level test plans.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills; proven team collaboration.
Nice-to-have:
- Broad experience across multiple memory and interface IPs or SoC-level verification projects.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. The posting notes extensive industry experience; no mention of required advanced degrees or certifications.
