Role Summary

Responsible for sustaining mature power IC products after mass production to ensure product continuity, reliability, and manufacturability. The role focuses on resolving production and customer issues, driving yield and cost improvements, and supporting cross-functional teams including design, test, manufacturing, and quality.

Experience Level

Senior-level role. The posting specifies a minimum of 5 years of product engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on sustaining engineering and production support for high-volume semiconductor products.

• Manage lifecycle and mass-production support for multiple high-volume PCP products across internal fabs and subcontractors.
• Drive COGS and process improvements: yield, test time, failure reduction, and test-process optimization.
• Manage risk via Process Change Review Board (PCRB); support product qualifications, second-source/material changes, and process migrations.
• Disposition abnormal or low-yield production lots and coordinate corrective actions.
• Monitor and resolve manufacturing and test issues in collaboration with fab, assembly, test sites, and OSAT partners.
• Analyze product performance, failure modes, and reliability; support customer returns (RMA/FA) investigations.
• Interface with Operations, Quality, Reliability, and Factory teams to maintain production and compliance.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for effective performance in this sustaining product engineering role.

• Must-have: Minimum 5 years of product engineering experience.
• Must-have: Proficient in data manipulation and analysis; experience with JMP or similar tools preferred.
• Must-have: Familiarity with integrated circuit semiconductor processes and manufacturability concerns.
• Must-have: Good verbal and written English communication skills; self-motivated with strong time-management.
• Must-have: Ability to work onsite in Bayan Lepas and coordinate across internal and external manufacturing partners.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with PDF Exenso, product test knowledge, IC/module knowledge (drivers, power stages), or NPI/development product engineering experience.
• Nice-to-have: Product management skills and strong cost/ROI awareness.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
