Staff Digital Design Engineer
Role Summary
Lead complex digital design projects and provide technical leadership for system-level architecture across product teams. Drive methodology improvements, influence product direction, and coordinate cross-functional implementation of digital design solutions.
Experience Level
Senior — preferred 8–12 years of relevant digital design engineering experience.
Responsibilities
The role focuses on architecture, project leadership, methodology, customer interaction, and mentoring.
- Define and develop system-level architectures for complex digital designs.
- Lead technical teams and provide hands-on technical direction for projects.
- Drive improvements in digital design methodologies and best practices.
- Influence product technical roadmaps and design decisions.
- Collaborate across functions (ASIC/SoC design, verification, software, product) to deliver solutions.
- Engage directly with customers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor engineers and support technical talent development.

- Expert ability to define and implement complex digital system architectures.
- Proven technical leadership and experience directing engineering teams.
- Deep knowledge across multiple domains relevant to digital design (e.g., RTL, microarchitecture, verification flows).
- Authority in digital design methodologies with a track record of driving improvements.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to work with diverse engineering teams.
- Experience translating customer needs into technical requirements and solutions.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field — or equivalent practical experience. Preferred experience: approximately 8–12 years in digital design engineering.
